Heart Beach Resort is a family friendly fishing resort. Open from May through September and is located on the Northern tip on Dead Lake in Minnesota. The resort features 5 lakeside cabins & camping sites. It has a large beach, a floating dock & a slide perfect for spending time in the lake! The screened in dining area with picnic tables and grill is perfect for enjoying Summer days in majestic Minnesota. On-site you can rent paddle boats, boat lifts, fishing and pontoon boats. Dead lake is fantastic for fishing and recreation. You will catch fish right off of our docks. We have a fish cleaning house with electricity, running water & underground disposal. Our cabins are fully stocked with all of the essentials. We have grills located outside of every cabin & fire pits for those nights you need S’mores. Cabin rentals are from Saturday through Saturday during peak season.
Heart beach is located 4 miles from Dent & 15 miles from Perham. Perham is a larger town with grocery stores, laundry mats, restaurants, shops & more. On Wednesdays head into to Perham and enter the Perham International Turtle Races. It’s a lot of fun for the whole family! They also have a trolley you can ride after the races.

Bill Poulsen
Bill Poulsen is the owner. He has fished the lakes in Minnesota all of his life. In the off season he is at home in Nebraska. He has 3 adult children & 8 Grand children.
Upon arrival, check in with Bill. He lives in one of the campers on-site and is available to help guests with rentals or any questions that they have during their stay.
